Zorro: The Chronicles Reviews
Professional reviews from gaming critics
When Nacon announced they were set to publish a Zorro game, I was stunned. No, it’s not because I’m a die-hard Zorro fan (my parents are, though), I just never thought I’d hear anything about the franchise ever again. I was even more suprised to find out that Zorro The Chronicles is actually based on a recent cartoon series, and that said cartoon series is actually a hit among young kids. I guess I now find out about what kids are watching these days via licensed game announcements. My ...
Zorro: The Chronicles is a kid-friendly action-adventure that, despite some limitations, shows that the old fox has a few tricks up its sleeves.
If you're a fan of Zorro The Chronicles then here's a new game based on the show and it's fairly entertaining stuff so let's check it out.

If you’re reading this as an adult with no kids, same as me, you might ask: wait, the animated show? I associate the masked legend of Zorro with the Antonio Banderas films from the early 2000s, and I hadn’t realized anything major had come to American audiences since.
Bland, repetitive, and offering zero challenge, Zorro The Chronicles isn’t aiming to be the next must-play title. What it does instead is gives children an entry point into other titles of the genre, so could be one to try if you have little ones desperate to play something new.
Offering a unique and bloodless gameplay and features inspired by best-in-class action/ adventure games, Zorro The Chronicles, The Game is combining thrilling combat, exciting exploration, and immersive experience.
All in all, then, Zorro The Chronicles is hard to recommend. There are few, if any, redeeming features here, and anything that’s partially enjoyable – like the simple combat with its humorous finishing animations – is ruined by a dreadful camera. There are far better family-friendly adventure games out there and so, even if you or your kids have a love for Zorro, you should spend your money elsewhere.
