World of Goo 2 is the sequel to 2008’s World of Goo by 2D Boy. The goal is to collect goo balls through various puzzles and challenges, with unique goo balls that reside in the game’s whacky landscapes helping you on your puzzle-solving journey. The Sign Painter from the original...
I lost my Mum, eight months ago. It weighs on me heavily every day, as I’m sure grief does with a lot of people. I never quite understood the intensity and gravity of that feeling until she passed away. With her hand in mine, taking her last breath, after a...
The planet of Ava is under threat from a life-consuming infection, and you’re the only one who can save it. Well, in theory, at least. Creatures of Ava is a creature-saving game that focuses on non-aggressive combat so that you can cleanse the planet of an infection known as The...
The vapidity, personalities, and other pure junk to come out of reality dating shows like The Bachelorette or Love Island are long-standing in the entertainment industry. So much so that it feels like its own trashy art form, with rabid fans desperate to find peers to talk to engage in office water cooler...
Most of us need a good dose of therapy these days, and one can only imagine just how much therapy a blood-sucking creature of the night might need after living for hundreds (or even thousands) of years. Every vampire needs a therapist, most media makes that pretty clear, and Vampire...

22 years since its original release in 2022, Aspyr has released a remaster of Star Wars: Bounty Hunter, the action game starring the iconic bounty hunter Jango Fett from Star Wars: Episode II: Attack of the Clones. Despite improved graphics and performance, as well as some welcome control scheme updates,...
Arranger: A Role-Puzzling Adventure is a role-playing puzzle adventure game developed and published by Furniture and Mattress. The game is the studio’s very first title, and the team includes members who have previously worked on well-known releases like Braid, Celeste, Per Aspera, and Carto.
Bō: Path of the Teal Lotus looks like a classic side-scrolling Metroidvania, and it is, except that description belies the game’s true focus. Realistically, this is a demanding, at-times brutal platformer with Metroidvania elements, set in a gorgeous world inspired by Japanese watercolour art. It has a beautiful art style...
Depictions of war in video games have always deserved more than the Call of Duty-style glamorising approach of making it look badass while asking you to bear no mind to the torture scene you instigated. We’ve come close in other titles: the Valiant Heart games show some of the emotion and...
A small but gorgeous alpine village in the Austrian Alps, Hinterberg is a bustling town full of tourists, influencers and adventurers, all trying to make names for themselves. That’s because the world is full of magic, and dungeons that have recently appeared are just begging for willing dungeon crawlers to...
