As the last game under the EA – FIFA umbrella, this is an unsatisfactory finale. It’s obvious that EA has focused all of its resources on milking this dying cow one last time, and has not made many of the changes fans have been asking for over the years.

Metal: Hellsinger is not a particularly long game, but it is incredibly fun while it lasts. The unique rhythm-based combat is a lot of fun, especially as the heavy metal music picks up the better you do against the demon hordes.
While the new gameplay improvements may be fun, under the surface this is still the same experience as its always been. The heavy dose of microtransactions are simply another aspect that sours the experience.
