Like many sports franchises that release yearly iterations, EA Sports FC 25 is going to be much like the game you remember from last year. While FC IQ and roles do a good job of making tactics feel varied and exciting, there are many adjustments and improvements that need to be made to AI before things feel balanced. When slide comes to tackle, not too much has changed this year.

EA Sports College Football 25 proves it's more than just nostalgia with its impressive production and gameplay.

Marvel's Midnight Suns is a blast to play, as you get to really experience what it is like to be a powerful superhero, thanks to excellent gameplay mechanics. It's just a shame that they didn't flesh things out a little bit more when it comes to the world and how it wants to tell its stories, as that would have made it a truly elite game in the genre.

Anyone who was a fan of the franchise before this will likely still love Saints Row, as the comedy, goofiness, and chaotic gameplay is still at the game's core. And while I wasn't a fan of how they went about the story, there's definitely some promise in regards to its more grounded focus, as it seems clear this reboot was made to push the series into an interesting new direction.

Cult of the Lamb
5.0

You'll be hard-pressed to find a more enjoyable roguelike or farm sim game out there than Cult of the Lamb. The way that it manages to craft such a complicated, but intricate ecosystem of upgrades and resource management alongside varied and stellar combat is a wonder to behold.

Sniper Elite 5
3.0

Sniper Elite 5 is by no means a terrible game. In fact, if you love the series and wanted nothing to change from the previous installment, then you'll be more than satisfied. As someone who has played enough of the series in the past and was hoping for a little more growth, I was thoroughly disappointed.

Rune Factory 5
3.0

Overall, Rune Factory 5 is a complicated game, mostly because of how high expectations are for it. After a decade of waiting, there simply should have been more quality and quantity regarding the new features that were added, as well as the ones the series is known for.
