Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy is here for the modern age, and although not perfect, it’s an accessible way to experience the series for years to come.

Definitely the lesser trilogy in Capcom's long-standing lawyer 'em up series, but among the gimmicks and gadgetry there are still plenty of highlights to be found here, and Spirit Of Justice is up there with Ace Attorney's best.

Continuing the storyline from the beloved original trio of adventures, this is arguably the best collection the publisher has put together yet, fleshing it out with a much fuller set of fan-pleasing extras. And that's the main thing; this package will be lapped up by the franchise's passionate followers, even if the games themselves are a touch less consistent.

While it can be jarring jumping from 2D animation into 3D, all three games tie into each other pretty well and offer a fun experience for both old and new fans.
