A simulation of the everyday reality of being a nuisance sheep, Goat Simulator 3 is more than just the sum of its fart noises.

Pilgor is back and better than ever. Goat Simulator 3 is the troll sequel no one asked for, but happy to get it, anyway. Help her defeat The Farmer and wreak as much havoc as possible on the residents of San Angora. The result is the punniest adventure you’ll ever go on.

When all is said and done, Goat Simulator 3 is a solid playground to have fun in and just be the worst goat possible. There’s tons of items to find, toys to unwrap and secrets to find. It’s a well-made silly thing to follow up a joke that went too far. Even after the credits roll, it’ll still be fun to try out new ideas to see what will work and what else is hidden. Even as I am writing this, I’ve thought of a couple of things that I’m going to want to do just to see if anything happens. Based on the rest of the game, the answer is probably yes. There’s goat-shaped destruction, a presidential race to boycott, and even a portal to IKEA. What more could you want?

There may be some life in the ol' goat yet, but it's probably fair to say that the joke is beginning to wear a little thin... well, a tiny bit, anyway.

Gather your herd and venture forth into Goat Simulator 3; an all-new, totally realistic, sandbox farmyard experience that puts you back in the hooves of no one's favourite female protagonist.

Given the right context, Goat Simulator 3's uniquely humorous, wonderfully broken world is a delightful playground. Though the single-player experience can be lackluster, bordering on boring, the multiplayer party potential is great. The world and mechanics are set up so the slightest provocation can prompt a world unraveling with hilarious results. Despite its flaws, Goat Simulator 3 deserves its day in the sun as the go-to party game.

Goat Simulator 3 knows exactly who it's for. If you found the wonky physics and toilet humour of the original Goat Simulator about as amusing as the bubonic plague, the odds are incredibly low that you'll find anything of value in this follow-up. Even the name is a daft joke; this is in fact the second instalment. Your Google searches for Goat Simulator 2 will only find other confused people looking for Goat Simulator 2 which, to be fair, is quite funny.

Despite its zaniness, Goat Simulator 3 just left me feeling bored.

Goat Simulator 3 is an evolution of everything that players loved about the first game while also doing a lot of new stuff. There are seemingly endless secrets to find around the map, providing days worth of fun or more for completionists. While it suffers from wonky AI and the occasional movement bug, it does a lot to make up for these rough moments.
