Part one of The Fall came out of nowhere as far as I could tell. A Kickstarter success story, it looked to me like a run-of-the-mill adventure game with a very dark atmosphere. But I was pleasantly surprised: The Fall was actually a fun and thought-provoking narrative with puzzles that were tricky in just the right way — the way that makes you feel like a genius when you finally figure them out. The Fall Part 2: Unbound is a fantastic sequel that takes many of the elements of the first game and improves on them, creating a fascinating story and a fun blend of gameplay elements.
The Fall Part 2: Unbound is a solid follow-up to its predecessor with a moving story and interesting puzzles. It is held back somewhat by occasionally obtuse solutions and bland action sequences, but is well-worth the price of admission for players eager to continue ARID’s story.
The Fall Part 2: Unbound adds a significant amount of depth and complexity to the formula set by its predecessor and it is all the better for it. Combat has become more interesting and varied. The new characters are a welcome addition to the world. The story presents fresh ideas and feels like a worthy follow up to The Fall. The occasional awkward mechanic aside, The Fall Part 2 presents an exciting and satisfying adventure. Now get to work on part three!

The Fall Part 2: Unbound picks up right where we left ARID at the end of The Fall, featuring new characters, new gameplay twists, and an even more engrossing story.
After playing The Fall and seeing the words "to be continued" scroll across my screen, I was interested, but not excited. It told a good story, but its questionable gameplay and puzzle design left me cautiously optimistic. After my time with The Fall Part 2: Unbound, I am not only intrigued but eager for the series' conclusion when the third part inevitable releases. The sequel does exemplify some of the gameplay flaws of its predecessor but tells a fantastic sci-fi tale and builds a world that I never imagined it would.
As far as sequels go, The Fall Part 2: Unbound 2 is a tricky game for me to wrap my head around. On the one hand, I commend it for trying something different. T
