The LEGO Ninjago Movie Video Game Reviews
Professional reviews from gaming critics
The Lego games are built to be played on as many machines as possible, often straddling numerous generations of hardware. Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens landed on 14 different platforms, including mobile devices. While some versions of these games look better than others, developer TT Games strives for parity in gameplay and scope, a choice that has obviously kept the evolution of the series in check. Now, four years into this console generation, TT Games has cut the cord to the past, developing Lego Worlds and The Lego Ninjago Movie Video Game exclusively for the new generation of machines...
It’s a LEGO game alright, and these small but meaningful changes make it one of the better titles in the collection. Even if the Ninjago franchise doesn’t interest you as much as Batman or Marvel Superheroes might, the gameplay and signature LEGO humour makes The LEGO Ninjago Movie Videogame well worth jumping into.
The LEGO Ninjago Movie Game doesn't try to be anything but fun. There will always be another LEGO game coming out very few months. But this one is pretty good.
As a game adaptation of the third mainstream Lego film, you'd expect Traveller's Tales to offer a refined adventure. Thankfully, this action-packed movie tie-in is a delightful experience so grab your katana and let's save Ninjago!
The Lego Ninjago Movie Game does a great job of bringing the full film experience to your console and wrapping it up with the next step in Lego gameplay . It’s fantastic to see a return to the style of the Lego Movie Videogame, as opposed to the Lego Batman Movie’s half-accurate Lego Dimensions pack, but it’s bittersweet when all of that good work is somewhat undone by last-gen technical flaws which have somehow found their way back in.
We tell you, it’s a good game! It’s not average! It might have some problems here and there, but you have to admit it is a “Good” game.
Lloyd and his friends are secret ninja warriors who are led by Master Wu. They must defeat evil warlord Garmadon in the battle for Ninjago City.
The LEGO Ninjago Movie Videogame is by means going to be my pick of the season, but I'd be lying if I said it didn't keep my thumbs busy for a few days and a smile across my face. Filled with light-hearted comedy, the game is a breath of fresh air for those looking for lighter fare in their Fall lineup. And while the game certainly feels limited due to it being so tied to the underlying movie it is based on and technical issues, the game is a solid purchase for both children and children at heart.
The LEGO NINJAGO Movie Video Game is the latest LEGO game available for the Nintendo Switch. The system already has a port of the Wii U game, LEGO City Undercov
My biggest takeaway from Ninjago was how gorgeous the clips from the movie looked on the Switch’s screen, even if they’re unskippable. The Lego Ninjago Movie Video Game is, perhaps unsurprisingly, best enjoyed as a companion to The Lego Ninjago Movie and only by its biggest fans.
On the audio front, Lego Ninjago is nothing spectacular. The music is largely forgettable, and the sound effects are the same ones you’d hear in any other Lego game (the sounds of building items out of Lego is still as satisfying as ever). The voice acting is alright, but it doesn’t really stand out in any sense.
Here we are again, another LEGO film another LEGO game. It was a good 17 years ago that [...]
