Ghostwire: Tokyo
I enjoyed my time with Ghostwire: Tokyo, and I would like to spend a few more hours in the game. Even though much of the story didn't click with me, I would still go back for its satisfying gameplay and complete every side mission to explore the unknown.
Gran Turismo 7
Gran Turismo 7 is a welcome return for the series after the lackluster GT Sport, even though there are some flaws that are mostly associated with microtransactions. The visuals and racing physics are top-notch as always and the game's unique campaign that teaches you about the history of the automotive...
Horizon Forbidden West
The good news is that the review ratings are finally soaring. Initially, when not a lot of players have played the game, the review ratings are easily influenced by a few negative reviews, but as more and more players are finishing the game, the ratings are finally rising, and at...
There's no doubt about it, Dying Light 2: Stay Human is a sequel of epic proportions. Everything fans loved about the original title is still very much present, but now with a bigger story, new features, and a vast open-world filled with areas to explore and loot.
For a game with the subtitle Brain vs. Brain, the bare-bones multiplayer is a bit of a letdown. Surprisingly, the single-player is where Big Brain Academy: Brain vs. Brain really shines due to the well-designed and thought-provoking activities and their replayability due to the Ghost times and desire to beat...
Supermassive has an incredible talent for creating gripping narratives of a horror persuasion, and despite some technical bumps in the sand, my retrospective opinion on House of Ashes still remains the same: It’s a bloody good creature feature. I often thought that House of Ashes would make a better film...
Hell Let Loose
So, as someone who has only ever played fast-paced arcade-style shooters, did I enjoy Hell Let Loose? At first, no. But as I played more matches I slowly became more invested in the fact that I was in a war, not a 15-minute multiplayer game. Hell Let Loose can often...
Alan Wake Remastered
That being said, those who enjoyed Alan Wake back in the 360 era will no doubt find some joy with the Remaster and those who are visiting Bright Falls for the first will definitely enjoy it. It's just a little dated.
Besides that, I really can't recommend Kena: Bridge of Spirits highly enough that will see players partake in a meaningful journey absorbed in a vibrant world filled with fluid animations that cries out to be explored. With the game's added photo mode, expect to add on a few more gameplay...
Deathloop
Deathloop is a game that will be talked about for a long time and one that will undoubtedly be in the running for Game of the Year 2021. Its well-crafted systems, gripping narrative threads and quasi-choose your own adventure style gameplay make it the best Next-Gen title so far.
At the end of each chapter, Life is Strange: True Colors follows the same procedure as its predecessors in allowing you to compare your choices with other players and to find out exactly where your, and your friends, morals lie that will undoubtedly provide some interesting (possible arguments?) conversations. I...
Overall, for Sonic purists there's undoubtedly a great time to be had with Sonic Colors: Ultimate. For those who are more fairweather Sonic fans or are looking for a new adventure to dive into, the game might be a little more of a challenge to enjoy.
