There's no reason for you to play Damnation. It fails at being a worthwhile title on all fronts. The gameplay isn't fun, the levels are too long, the sound is bad, and the story isn't interesting. There are more problems, but I'll leave my written flogging at that.

Prototype is a game with many cool features. However, it lacks many of the finishing touches that make for a great and memorable game. To say the graphics and game engine need work is a massive understatement and many of the missions are cookie cutter in design without any real...

It may not have gotten the attention that other high profile shooters have received, but Killing Floor is a fun game for up to six players to enjoy as they blast mutated creatures to bits. While the single-player experience is pretty much non-existent and there are still a large number...

While interesting and engaging, Battlestations: Pacific is not for everyone. The pace of many battles might be a bit too slow for adrenaline junkies, and those looking for simple thrills should look elsewhere. But if you're a World War II fan who's tired of the endless string of shooters or...

For players looking for an action-RPG loot grind offering plenty of gameplay hours, enemies to kill, and numerous ways to kill them, you'll find it in Ascaron's Sacred 2: Fallen Angel. You'll also find an inconvenient interface, mediocre visuals, and a few technical drawbacks that keep this from really being...

In December, I played Infamous for the first time and told you that it was awesome. Five months later, I'm standing by that statement and backing it up with about 30 hours of playtime. Cole's powers are cool, the graphic novel cutscenes are stunning, the story is intriguing, and the...

I guess that kind of describes my expectations as a whole with X-Men Origins: Wolverine: I expected oomph, I got something rather tame and repetitive. It's possible some will be able to stomach dying over and over again to get to the end, but the comic book covers and hidden...

I want to stress that, while I didn't connect with Flock, I think it will find an audience. If you happen to be immune to the aggravation of trying to guide these animals to your goal, there is a lot to like about the game. The single-player and co-op campaigns...

I don't know how I'm going to score a game until I sit down and write the review. After reading the paragraphs preceding this one, it's clear I did not like Wheelman. When Vin Diesel is attached to a project -- whether it be a movie or game -- you...

Ninja Blade isn't necessarily a bad or broken hack-and-slash game. There are a few elements that could use a bit more polish, such as the awkward jumping or the occasional collision detection errors. The whole package is serviceable, even if the majority of the action tends towards the mundane and...

The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena is a difficult game to judge. The first half of the game, Escape from Butcher Bay, certainly shows its age, but is still an innovative game. The sequel, however, comes off as a poor imitation. It's far more frustrating and seems more...

I have nothing against short games, so long as there is proper incentive to play multiple times. Wanted lacks any such incentives. Something as simple as an arcade scoring system or in-depth stats might have been enough to make a second playthrough interesting. Even though the first time through is...
