Steam Deck HQLatest Reviews
Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake is a gorgeous and engaging remake while sticking to a lot of older JRPG tropes, for better and worse, and it's a blast on the Steam Deck.
Slay The Princess might be one of the best visual novels I have ever experienced. It is also near perfect on the Steam Deck!
Slitterhead is a unique horror experience with some intriguing combat that helps get through the stiffer parts of the game, and it is playable on Steam Deck.
Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven is a fantastic JRPG that is one of my favorites I have played in recent years, and it's wonderful on Steam Deck.
[REDACTED] is a solid rogue-like with good combat and a variety of upgrades, even if it is on the short side. Plus it runs flawlessly on the Steam Deck.
Life is Strange: Double Exposure is a great story mixed in with fairly mundane gameplay, the game struggles to run well on the Steam Deck, but it is completely playable.
Ys X: Nordics is a fantastic JRPG with wonderful combat and great cast of characters, and it runs wonderfully on the Steam Deck.
Romance of the Three Kingdoms 8 Remake is a solid strategy game that feels like it sticks to its original's roots a bit too much, but it is playable on the Steam Deck.
Fear the Spotlight is a fantastic, albeit short, horror game that is a wonderful experience on the Steam Deck.
Arco
Arco is a captivating strategy RPG with excellent combat. It also plays great on the Steam Deck, although a couple of bugs remain.
Killing Time: Resurrected is a fantastic retro FPS that Nightdive has molded into a definitive edition of the 1995 release, especially on the Steam Deck.
Unknown 9: Awakening has some issues, but is an overall interesting story with awesome powers to play with, and is technically playable on Steam Deck.
