EA Sports UFC 3

EA Sports UFC 3 is the best the series has ever looked, sounded or played and, despite a small handful of minor shortcomings, is quite simply the best UFC title to date and a very real contender for the fighting game throne in 2018.

EA UFC 3 is EA's best UFC game yet, and while there a lot of improvements, there are still some things like the ground game and the career mode that still could use some fine tuning.

Even beyond its merits as a faithful video game recreation of the combat sport, it's just a darn good video game that is hugely satisfying in its own right- and that, I think, is EA Sports UFC 3's greatest achievement.

Overall, EA Sports UFC 3 is a great game let down by some modes that just don’t entertain as much as they should. If you have the patience to click through menu after menu or grind for cards then this is undoubtedly the best UFC game ever made. The pros far outweigh the cons, though. The heart of the game is in its fighting and that’s as good as it’s ever been. Skilled and dedicated players will find it very rewarding, and casual players can dial the difficulty down to enjoy a smoother ride. EA Sports UFC 3 has something for every MMA-loving gamer. It’s virtual face punching at its finest.

EA went back to the gym with UFC 3 to work on many of the weaknesses that had the previous two games struggling to find their footing.
