A dominating performance.
All in all, though, F1 2017 is another extremely strong entry in the series from Codemasters. Although newcomers to Formula One in its entirety might find it a little challenging to grasp, particularly when it comes to the in-depth Career Mode, racing fans and Formula One fans in general should be revving their engines in preparation for the glamorous world of Formula One racing once again.
F1 2007 is the best racing game of 2017 thus far and is astounding from start to finish. A-1 graphics, driving feel, skill-tree, and most importantly – career mode, there is just nothing better out there.F1 2007 is the best racing game of 2017 thus far and is astounding from start to finish. F1 2017 isn’t light years ahead of the already very good F1 2016 but the new cars, retro content, and the juiced-up career mode make a very strong case for the upgrade, and I really appreciated the enhanced force feedback on a wheel. Rich with details and faithful to just about everything that makes contemporary F1 tick, F1 2017 is about as good a simulation of a single, modern motorsport as you can get.
Upgrade trees, a deep career mode, and classic cars put F1 back on track.
Formula One isn't exactly the most entertaining motorsport in the world. At least that's the case if you're after action that decides the podium. This year is already better than last which saw Mercedes vs Mercedes in a battle lacking any sportsmanship. 2017 has featured surprise placements like Stroll's third. Plus there's been a good show of sportsmanship from Hamilton to Bottas. Vettel and Hamilton are, of course, the best of friends after Azerbaijan.
F1 2017 bring us a fine tuned, well balanced, fun and compelling, and hugely satisfying racing game that can be recommended to motorsport enthusiasts without hesitation- but it can also be recommended to newcomers, if with some caveats. That is perhaps the game's greatest accomplishment.

It’s the metagame that makes Formula One such a compelling motorsport: the tactical tension of fuel management, the timing of that pivotal pit-stop, and the never-ending research and development going on behind-the-scenes. F1 2017 offers a taste of these additional activities, and it all helps to raise the stakes when you’re behind the wheel.
It's another small step forward for the series, but that's not quite enough to dispel the suspicion that Codemasters' F1 team doesn't have the resources to create iterations compelling or different enough to justify the annual churn. F1 2012 is a good game, but it's some way off from being the classic it could be.
It’s in the sparks coming off the skid blocks in the uneven pavement of Shanghai’s backstretch; the drumroll of the kerb as I hit my racing line just right, the lens flare of a midsummer sunset making an easy bank at Silverstone into a perilous wide turn and a sudden fight with Daniel Ricciardo. It’s in the feeling that, after Codemasters has gotten so many things right about the thrill of racing, I can too.
Codemasters, the developers of F1 2017, have cracked the code to delivering an amazing driving simulation experience that provides options for both casual or fully fledged racing fans. Most of the expected game modes are available from the main menu which include the Career Mode for those who seek to build their reputation and become the all time greatest F1 racer. Or you have your arcade mode options such as Grand Prix and Time Trial races for those quick hits of adrenaline. And then there...
