I know, I know, they’re bad guys, and maybe it’s just the fact that the game never makes the missions particularly personal, but every time I watch my high-velocity round make its slow-motion journey towards the cranium of my target, I can’t help but feel a little bad. Some poor, hapless goon was chatting with his buddy about the weather and without warning, several decades of hopes, dreams, sports scores, and wondering what’s for dinner are suddenly pooling with fragments of bone on the desert sand. I never feel exultant. My thought is always, “sorry, dude.” I’m not sure if...

Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 is a step up for CI Games and the franchise. Running much better than its predecessor and finding the right gameplay formula, the experience is a fun one that allows you to turn your brain off and just let loose, sniping some fools from a cliffside. Whilst not amazing, I am hopeful for the future of the franchise and where CI Games takes it.

Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 is a particularly good sniping game. The set up is a hammy take on how superpower interventions only occur when there is a financial motivation, and comes off as a little bit awkward, but the game's regions are unique and fun to explore, enemies are tough to handle, and the challenges are fun to master. Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 should be a go to for sniper game fans.

The Sniper series has been around for years, beginning back in 2008 with Sniper: Art of Victory. Now returning with a sixth instalment, it’s apparent Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 is once again bringing in the heavy sniper rifles – literally! Reloading for a sequel to the last Contracts game that came out in 2019, Contracts 2 sees the Sniper Ghost Warrior series taking down a new assortment of shady figures. This time around there are also new long-range targets that demand precision a...

With exhilarating moment to moment gameplay, Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 delivers on its promise of longer shots, new gadgets, better contracts, and everything you’ve come to expect. Sure, it brings bugs and design choices that’ll make you scratch your head, but that’s no reason to avoid this one. Lock and load.

Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 delivers one of the best shooters of the year, with intense sniping, skillfully crafted progression, and engaging levels.

Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 still manages to offer a decent romp with its blend of stealth and action. Unfortunately, it relies too much on "long shot contracts" as opposed to the sandbox-oriented exploration of its predecessor. Likewise, given a multitude of challenges in each level, the autosave system becomes noticeably restrictive.

On the whole, Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 is an accomplished sequel. It builds on the first game in meaningful ways, expanding the scope of its gameplay while also being more accessible to newcomers. It remains great fun visiting one of the classic regions and figuring out the best ways to complete its available contracts, while the new long-range contract regions complement them very well, offering a different type of sniping challenge. Better yet, despite being released at a budget price, it has the look and feel of a AAA game. Needless to say, if you’re keen to do some...

The second part of sniper contracts is generally a package of new missions and a small evolution of the Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts series. And apart from the novelty of kilometer shots, the stealth stages were even better.
