Anya Forger’s adventures in SPY×ANYA: Operation Memories are well worth the time of any secret agent. While we wish there were more minigames, SPYxFAMILY fans shouldn’t hesitate to go out on this ooting.
Ultimately, this game is an exceptionally charming and cute look at the life of a little girl and her family, and can tug at the heartstrings. The immense variety in minigames is fun, and there are so many little challenges to accomplish throughout the game that there is always something to work towards. There is a large selection of cosmetics as well, which provides an extra little boost of joy through getting to dress up Anya and do her hair, as well as other family members. SPY×ANYA: Operation Memories, a spin-off from the popular anime SPYxFamily, focuses on the charming antics of Anya, providing a lighthearted and visually appealing experience.
After you’ve played all the minigames once or twice and seen each of the locales, you’ll likely be a bit bored between character interactions, making this a tough sell for anyone outside of hardcore series fans. As someone who loves the series, I was able to still enjoy it after the first five or so hours, but I can’t say those who don’t dig the series would do the same.
