The only real downside of the graphics were occasional glitches. Sometimes your camera would get stuck, particularly if you were inside a house. You’d then just see a zoomed in version of a wall or something equally boring, and it would take a lot of manoeuvring to free yourself again....
The graphics during the matches aren’t winning any prizes, but they get the job done. It’s a relatively minimalist style, but I like it. You can clearly see the buildings and which side possesses them (indicated by colour). Your army is visible whilst on the move, and the cursor causes...
Even the pop-up messages that appear on screen aren’t overly helpful. A lot of the time they’ll tell you what to do next, without explaining how to do it. If a building isn’t connected to a road, that building won’t work, but it also won’t warn you about it. So...
I’d say I enjoyed Neptunia x Senran Kagura: Ninja Wars for the most part, even though it’s not my usual genre. I’ve been wanting to get more into JRPGs, so I think this was a good introduction for me. Although it’s certainly a shame that the adventure elements weren’t more...
I enjoyed this game so much more than I thought I would. As I said before, this really isn’t my genre, and I’m not ashamed to admit I kinda sucked at it. It took me nearly an hour just to beat the first stage, although I started progressing more quickly...
Having said that, I still enjoyed playing it for the most part. I think there are definitely better farming games on the market, and the combat element isn’t developed enough to make this one stand out. But if you’re a big fan of this genre, and you’re looking for something...
On the whole, 10 Second Ninja X is an okay game done well. The designs are fine, the music is fine, and the gameplay is fine. It’s all… Fine. The problem is, whilst it was well made, it didn’t wow me. It was quite fun at first, but constantly repeating...
Psychonauts 2
I was really impressed with Psychonauts 2. I wasn’t sure what to expect going into it, due to not having any experience with the franchise. However, I was pleasantly surprised, and I really loved the breadth of the world they designed with this game. It certainly had its flaws, such...
Omno
However, the biggest problem with Omno comes after you’ve played it. If you wanted to play through the game first, and then go back to levels to get any items you’d missed, tough luck. You can’t travel to previous chapters without completely overwriting your save. This means if you were...
On the whole, I really enjoyed this game, and would certainly recommend it. It’s rather short, but I’d rather a short game with good pacing, than a boring, prolonged experience. I do think it could have been improved by having photos be rated on quality. That would have given you...
