nkulinati is a good strategy experience that is lacking in variety at present but that should be improved over the coming months. However, it does provide a good deal of enjoyment in its present form.
Overall, Chained Echoes is a great throwback to the old JRPGs of the SNES era, and for those who loved those sorts of games, this one is definitely worth your time. This game is also for those who are not looking for a nostalgia trip though. This comes from someone who does not ordinarily enjoy JRPGs, but Chained Echoes is chockful of content, systems, and loads of great characters and complex mechanics. You’ll probably love it if you do or don’t love those old-school JRPG classics.
Asterigos: Curse of the Stars is a solid action RPG with a good set of upgrades and combat capabilities that are rather generic, but it should keep you entertained for some time.
So, is this game recommendable? Most definitely. There can be a few finicky bits here and there; the traversal system can take some getting used to but is otherwise perfectly fine. It also crashed on one occasion, but subsequent early patches will probably sort that out. So, other than that, the game is most definitely one to recommend. Endling - Extinction is Forever is an experience worth having, and with a length of about four hours, it’s a tight, polished experience that doesn’t have any fluff.
However, if you can get over those rather specific issues, then Dwerve certainly is a different take on the tower defense genre, and if you like tower defense, you could definitely do a lot worse! And the game should keep you occupied for a good ten or so hours, but replayability may not be there just yet (although the devs have hinted at a new game plus mode further down the line). So, this may just be for you if you like tower defense. If not, then uh… maybe rather not.
