Dead Rising 4 is a great game, and this expanded edition only makes it all the more greater. The addition of Capcom Heroes and Super Ultra Dead Rising 4 Mini Golf are just icing on the cake when it comes to this zombie splat fest. Some audio and graphics issues do hurt the game near the end of it all, but overall Frank does have a great Big Package.
For a game about the simple act of killing zombies, Dead Rising 4: Frank's Big Package supplies players with an unbelievable variety of ways to get the job done. Some of the modes that might have felt slight as individual DLC purchases just become icing on the delicious cake of destruction that is Frank's Big Package. Weirdness and chaos can take you pretty far when the core game play is as solid as it is here. There is a ton of fun content here that makes Frank's Big Package well worth the purchase.
Just like zombies themselves, Frank West's latest adventure keeps rising from the dead. This latest iteration combines all of the previously available content plus a cool new addition so get ready to kill some zombies... again!
Since the very first game, Dead Rising has evolved and devolved in a number of ways. The series started as a self-aware, straight-faced comedy that let the players create their own amusement. Rarely did the characters question the absurdity they faced either in the hordes of zombies or the enemies that survived, and adopted that same madness.

Overall, Dead Rising 4: Frank's Big Package tends to cater more to casual fans of the zombie genre. As someone who loves the franchise, I cannot say that this game is neither good nor bad. There is plenty of replayability in Frank's Big Package, there is no denying that and while this game is inferior to the original regarding overall quality, the addition of Capcom Heroes as well as refining all the gameplay and combat issues I had with previous installments still made it enjoyable. Dead Rising 4: Frank's Big Package is a game worth playing if you're a fan of the series solely because of the ...
At times it feels like a reanimated corpse itself, but as mindless and predictable as it may be Dead Rising 4 can still offer hours of inoffensively dumb entertainment.
You play through as Frank West and find arcade machines throughout that enable you to transform into Capcom characters for a limited time. These characters range from Megaman and Ryu to Morrigan and Amaterasu from Okami. Playing as these guests highlights the lack of depth in the main game’s combat and goes some way to justifying the huge hordes of zombies. However, the short time limits for each transformation and the need to replay the padded story mode hold even this mode back.
