The Enhanced Edition of the stellar 2014 RPG Divinity: Original Sin brings literally thousands of new tweaks including a great co-op mode to make what is already ones of the best games of it's genre even better.

If you want the RPG with the most skills, the most stats to consider, and a world that constantly makes meaningful use of every line on your character sheet, there’s nothing else quite like Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition. You can find RPGs that are prettier, more accessible, or less busy, but very few are as dedicated to the true spirit of role-playing as this one is.

A year and a half after the release of Divinity: Original Sin, we received an expanded version of the game. Belgian developer Larian has worked hard on improving their creation but was it worth the wait?

In short, Larian Studios has shown a huge labor of love by cramming it’s kick ass RPG and getting it ported over to the consoles. It looks good, it sounds good, plays fantastically and will provide even the most hardcore RPG gamer countless hours of game-play. There’s a certain charm that the world of Divinty presents and if this first effort of getting the game to work with the limitations of a consoles controller worked this well, I can’t wait to see what they manage to pull out with Divinity: Original Sin 2, that is if they decide to port that over to the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 as well.

Overall, Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition shows that PC role-playing games can transfer over to the most recent console generation with relative ease. Although there are a few bumps here and there, with some awkward controls at times, the game's co-operative experience is easily enough to outweigh the negatives. This enhanced edition is a fantastic translation of the original game.

Ask anyone in Ann Summers and they’ll tell you that roleplaying by yourself is a little bit strange, but that won’t stop you falling in love with Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition. Talking to yourself might be a little unsettling at first, especially if you wind up disagreeing with yourself, but it is a really nice little touch that helps you take on a role or two in the chaotic land of Rivellon.
