Fallout 4: Nuka World Reviews

Professional reviews from gaming critics

The final DLC for Fallout 4 lets you become a raider. Eventually.

Aug 30, 2016 Read Review

Don’t come into Fallout 4: Nuka-World expecting a gripping story, it’s an entertaining piece of content that focuses on exploration above everything else. Venturing throughout the park in search of rides, new items, and quests is where Nuka-World shines. The story simply drives you forward but it’s going off the path that made Nuka-World truly fun.

Aug 31, 2016 Read Review

Nuka-World is a monument to the raider aesthetic, poor life decisions and sugary soda-induced diabetes. You'll need a higher-than-normal glitch tolerance. But if you’re willing to assume a raider's principles for good, then you’ll want the uncompromising, combat-heavy lifestyle that Nuka-World provides.

Nuka World is sure to take you on a wild ride, but there are many ups and downs. The final piece of Fallout 4 DLC is out, and yet again Bethesda has managed to maintain their love-hate relationship with me. All aboard the Nuka Express.

Sep 9, 2016 Read Review

Fallout 4's selection of post-release content has been divisive. Many will tell you that far too much emphasis has been placed upon the title's settlement crafting system, while others will swear that Far Harbor is better than the main game. From where we're sitting, it feels like Bethesda's latest hasn't quite lived up to its potential. Where Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas did a great job of expanding their respective experiences with chunky doses of downloadable content, Fallout 4's offerings have felt a little flat when taken as a whole.

Sep 12, 2016 Read Review

Fallout 4: Nuka-World is impressively designed and offers plenty of surprises and fun combat though lacks a meaningful storyline to really draw players into the experience outside of giving them the reigns of a bandit group.

Sep 9, 2016 Read Review

It’s time to play devil’s advocate. The sixth and final DLC expansion to Fallout 4, Nuka-World, really isn’t that bad. There has been a lot of press flying around about how this wasn’t the finale to Fallout 4 that everyone was hoping for. I would argue that for a game that was released 10 months ago, the Fallout 4 Season Pass has kept this game extremely relevant, and Nuka-World is no exception. There is a good chunk of new content here, with a fun, quirky story-line and some entirely...

By allowing you to become a raider, Nuka World takes Fallout 4 down a, interesting path it’s never been before. Whilst this road may not suit all play styles, overall the DLC still offers an enjoyable and unique Fallout experience. With the addition of new craftable items, enemies, factions, weapons and more, Nuka World delivers a strong finish to the Fallout 4 franchise. If one thing is clear from Nuka World – it’s that you will live long enough to see yourself become the villain. And if you’re already one, this is the DLC you’ve been hoping for.
