There has never been a fighting game like this one before, and judging by Marvel vs Capcom Infinite, there probably never will. This port of UMvC3 will not be remembered as simply the PC version of the game, it will go down as the definitive version. UMvC3 has stood the test of time and then some. Going back to the game after all this time makes me forget why I ever stopped playing it. Priced at £20/$25, it’s one of the best deals you can get for a fighting game of this calibre. With mods ...
On the whole then, whilst it is just a simple port, there’s no doubt that this is the best version of Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 available. It still has the issues that it always has, such as being unbalanced and having what has got to be one of the most aggravating final bosses in a fighting game ever, but the sharper visuals, improved performance and snappier load times more than make up for it. If you’re a fan of the game and own a PS4 then you owe it to yourself to get it downloaded, pronto. Those new to the series should seriously consider it too. With its bargain price, it offers a uniq...
When Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 was released over 5 years ago, the fans of the fighting game community simply ate the game up. As a follow up to the original Marvel vs. Capcom 3 title, the gameplay was tweaked, new characters were added, thrusting the game further into the…
Where an anthropomorphic, gun-toting raccoon being prosecuted by an attorney is encouraged.“Hang on”, you say, in a confused daze, “didn’t this game come out already?” Well, it did see [...]
If you skipped out on Marvel vs. Capcom 3 earlier this year or simply heard about the Ultimate version and opted to wait it out, you’ll find a lot to love in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3. The added characters round out the roster very nicely, bolstering the full lineup to potentially fifty. However, if you’re looking for something more than added characters and stages, UMvC3 doesn’t add much in the way of new features and modes, making the forty dollar price tag and retail-only package a little hard to swallow.
Capcom knows a good thing when it sees it, and cross license games are a big thing for them. One of their most notable cross license franchise is Marvel vs. Capcom, and it is one that has seen a few releases on home consoles. Well, it seems that Capcom hasn’t forgotten fighting fans who love gaming on the go, as the PS Vita has been blessed with a portable version of the latest release in the series. Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (UMvC3) has been on store shelves since the launch of the PS Vita, and I have to say that after playing quite a few rounds, this fighting game is a solid port of th...

This is certainly the better of the two games considering the expanded roster and the spectator mode is worth its wait in gold. It's also cheaper than the original was when it launched.
Ever since X-Men vs. Street Fighter way back in the 1990s, Capcom knows its fans want to be able to fight Ryu with Wolverine. As popularity increased, Capcom expanded the roles from just X-Men and Street Fighter to include various characters from the Marvel and Capcom line up.
Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 takes the epic battle to new heights with new iconic characters from the Marvel and Capcom universes, a refined fighting system, eight new stages and new modes.
Whether or not you should buy this game so soon after the release of Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is different story. If you missed out on the original back in February then this game is a no-brainer. Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 feels more like a complete product with more characters, stages, and gameplay variety. The improved online mode certainly helps as well. That said, it’s still rather bare bones when compared to the competition.
Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 is a one way ticket to nostalgia express if you are a fan of the Versus series. However, this is a flawed experience for you if you are just a common gamer because of its limited content and bad multiplayer. If you are a hardcore fighting game fan or a competitive gamer, then this game is a must buy where you consider the amount of nostalgia looming in this game as it harkens back to the days of X-Men versus Street Fighter. For $40(PHP679.00), this is not worth the price tag if you are a common gamer like 95% of the gaming community due to the amount of DLC that has...
