Latest Reviews
Given that I have reviewed no less then three other versions of Skylanders SWAP Force, it was only natural that I be tasked as my final review of 2013 to give my impressions of the Xbox One version. Given we are a Skylander’s family, as my kids just love it,...
FIFA 14
As we inch closer to the big day, many moms, dads, brothers or drunk uncles are looking for that must have Xbox One game to put under the tree. Let’s face it none of the launch games scream “you must own this”. Sure Forza 5 and Dead Rising 3 are...
Foot to the floor, no regard for the rules, wind in my hair, the music cranked and the cops on my ass. Like many red blooded males this is the recipe for a wet dream and also the components of the latest game in the Need for Speed franchise (minus...
LocoCycle
The promise of next gen consoles includes larger, more well realized worlds, realistic AI, and eye-popping presentation. LocoCycle includes none of those things, and would fit better in an early ‘90s arcade than a 2013 console powerhouse.
Dead Rising 3
There is something about open world sandbox style games we all love. Whether it be Saints Row IV or Grand Theft Auto V, we seem to have no problem dropping some hard earned cash on a game that gives us that ability to explore an open world setting, complete endless...
Spending most of my childhood in arcades I saw a lot of fighting games come and go, from various Street Fighters, to Tekken, SNK Fighters, and Mortal Kombat, but there is one fighting series that holds a special place in my heart. I don’t know why it does exactly. It...

Forza Motorsport is Microsoft’s racing jewel as it has provided Xbox gamers with a great simulation experience that is accessible to all levels of racing fans. The series was first released on the original Xbox and this fifth release, sixth if you add Forza Horizon, is a launch title for...
Knack!
Simplicity and pretty colours. That’s about the easiest way to sum up Knack in a quick few words. While I actually enjoyed my time with the game I have to admit that it never really advances past a one button puncher that’s easy on the eyes. Sony and Japan Studio...
With past LEGO crossover games such as Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, and Batman, not only have I been patiently waiting, but almost at the edge of my seat for a Marvel Universe crossover. Alas, my waiting has come to an end. Having grown up with LEGO and being...
Resogun
Sony’s PS4 has finally launched and there are quite a few games to check out. One such game is a Resogun, a downloadable title on PSN. It is free for PSN+ members, and should you not be a member it will cost you $14.99. The reason I bring this up...
Battlefield 4
Here we are at the dawn of the next generation of console gaming. While the gaming community is busy salivating at screenshots and videos of what they can expect over the next few months we still have developers absolutely pushing the limits of the current generation to their maximum. Their...
