In modern gaming, there are few figures more decisive than David Cage, creator of Heavy Rain and Detroit: Become Human. The French game designer comes with a lot of baggage, but his experimental style and obsession with independent cinema make his games singularly unique. Enter Chris Darril, a young Italian...
Transference
Developed by Ubisoft Montreal in partnership with Elijah Wood and his production company, SpectreVision, Transference is sure to receive massive attention on those names alone. And it doesn’t just make for great marketing – the power of such a collaboration is evident in every moment. Most notable is the seamless...
CrossCode
CrossCode is an RPG that demands your full attention at every turn. Whether it’s solving puzzles, completing quests or surviving the many battles, you need to be on your toes. Honestly, it’s exhausting. But I don’t mind the strain. Indeed, I’d rather more RPGs pushed me in this fashion. Perhaps...
Do you remember that friend from your childhood? If you need a reminder, they are the one you made at camp that summer, or the kid you laughed with during swimming lessons, or the one who transferred from your school one year. The Gardens Between tells the story of best...
Boundless

The problem with NBA 2K19 lies everywhere else, the game constantly...
If you’re looking for a deep retelling of Naruto’s story, or new chapter in the saga all together, Shinobi Striker is not for you. In fact, there isn’t really a “story” at all. Instead, Shinobi Striker focuses on online multiplayer battles and a batch of unlockable solo missions. You get...
If you’ve had the fever for a great tycoon game in the vein of those 90s classics – especially Theme Hospital – then Two Point Studios has the cure. Taking all the best aspects of past titles and somehow making them even better, Two Point Hospital is a true delight...
Planet Alpha
I play many platforming games, and although I am terrible at landing in the right places and staying alive, there is a certain appeal to the challenge that I can’t quite put into words. When I first saw the trailer for Planet Alpha, I knew that I had to try...
