Unfortunately, from my experience, I was exposed to a plethora of game ending bugs/crashes consistently within a gaming period. I found the only way to reconcile the issue was to actually power off my vita and boot it up again. Don’t let that deter you though from experiencing a remarkably enjoyable game though.

An entertaining and intelligent skating game, but missing that extra spark.

I did have fun playing it, and it's a really appealing game in a lot of ways, but the input issues are a significant problem.

OlliOlli is a fine indie game that will most likely get its hooks into you and not let go. It isn't a perfect port, and it's a little galling to be paying for the original game when the sequel is currently free on PlayStation 4 as a part of PlayStation Plus. But, if you haven't been exposed to the game before now, there are definitely worse ways to spend £8.

It may not be a full 3D Skateboarding game like we used to have, but for those who want their extreme skateboarding fix should look no further than OlliOlli. Its fast, fun and incredibly addicting and I think I will be returning to this game many more times in the future.

While it's an acquired taste to be sure, and has a bit of a sting to it when the hardware isn't quite right, OlliOlli brings solid skating to the PC and is worth a look for anybody who enjoys a good scoreboard chase.

OlliOlli is the very definition of a love it or hate it game, and I apparently came down on the wrong side of that equation. I fully acknowledge that OlliOlli is not my kind of game and there are plenty of gamers and reviewers who already love it, but unfortunately for them and Roll7 I exist too and my opinion is just as important. And my opinion is that OlliOlli is getting deleted off my hard drive the second I finish this sentence. Try it, you may very well like or even love it, but don’t...

The final gripe with OlliOlli is actually a complimentary one, and that is that it isn’t a Cross-Buy title for the PS3 or PS4. This is easily a title that many would gladly sit in on the couch and sink some quality time into. Fun. Tense. Challenging. Quick. Endlessly replayable. Hard to put down. Is there anything more to ask of a portable experience? The demand for perfection may be off-putting for some, but once this game clicks with the player, it is an absolute blast. Anyone needing a reason to dust off their Vita shouldn’t look any further. OlliOlli...

OlliOlli only does one thing, but it does it with style and grace. The trick system, while initially off-putting, strikes a near perfect balance of technique, creativity, and precision without coming off as overwhelming or obtuse. Daily Grind and Spots modes showcase its strengths well, but quite literally grinding out the career mode can feel like a slog at times thanks to the limited scope of its trick and stage variety. Hopefully, we get a sequel that builds on its successes and realizes its full potential. But for now, I’ll enjoy what’s here: a technically pure skateboarding game played to...

There’s a lot to love about OlliOlli. The game is in the sweetspot of “simple to control” and “just difficult enough” to keep you playing without tearing your hair out. The Daily Grind and Spots challenges will keep the score-centric crowd happy, and Career mode will have you blistering your thumbs as you try to perfect each level. A masterpiece.

OlliOlli's slick presentation and streamlined skating are capable of throwing players into a kind of trance. Roll7 has crystallized the very idea of combos into something new and inventive, but so familiar. It's enough to transport me back to the golden days of skateboard games, enough to make me wish for the genre's resurgence. OlliOlli might not be the broadest skateboard experience out there, but in this department, it might be the most refined.
