Ever since I was a kid, I've always loved sandbox games that allowed you to manage large areas or populations. Whether it was Theme Hospital or SimCity 2000, a lot of time was spent playing those games. As someone who loves going to museums, big or small, I knew immediately that I had to play this game, and I'm so glad I did. Truly, you can't go wrong with any of the Two Point games, but Two Point Museum excels in areas that other sandbox titles do not. Between their first game and this new title, they have learned what...

Incredibly well polished, easy to comprehend, and deep enough for players to jump into and immediately enjoy, Two Point Museum is worthy of a display in the halls of history. A genuine masterpiece of the simulation genre, and one that everyone that has even the smallest inkling of interest should check into.

As a newcomer to the Two Point series, I was pleasantly surprised by how intuitive and accessible Two Point Museum is, but that's not to say there isn't still a decent challenge in trying to manage and maintain the different museum sites. Having since played both Two Point Hospital and Two Point Campus, I can confidently say that Museum is the strongest entry in the series so far. Everything Two Point Museum sets out to do, it achieves with flying colors. From the core gameplay loop to the specifics of Expeditions and arrangement, everything comes very naturally and effortlessly. I...

Two Point Museum manages to stand out among the crowd as a management simulator that actually feels good to play on a form-factor that traditionally makes them a true struggle. Beyond that - it’s a phenomenally layered and engaging game in its own right, with a brilliant balance of mechanical depth and humour that never felt like it wore thin or strayed into silliness. The two elements are married together in a way that’s incredibly moreish, and delightfully self-aware, despite some of the mechanics being a bit more random than I’d like for this game.

Two Point Museum takes the challenge of Hospital and the customization within Campus to make a smooth and satisfying museum sim experience. The addictive gameplay loop of going on expeditions for exhibits and maintaining existing ones provides newcomers enough tools to tackle objectives, and veterans the kind of in-depth skill ceiling they clamor for. I just wish the controls for the PS5 version were a bit more responsive and efficient. While Two Point Museum doesn't reinvent the wheel of management sims, that characteristic Two Point charm and smooth gameplay loop make it a solid entry in the series.

How will someone react when they walk into a museum? You hope it’s with awe and excitement when they see the exhibits on offer. Seeing someone gain new knowledge or broaden their horizons is one of the greatest joys you can experience. However, nurturing the minds of museum visitors isn’t cheap and you must constantly strive for greater heights. Creating the world’s best museums isn’t easy but you’ll learn several things along the way.

Overall, I really like Two Point Museum, and the game falls somewhere between Campus and Hospital for me. Museum fixes the pacing problems that made Campus often feel like a slog, while not falling into the micromanagement trap of the late game portion of Hospital. At the same time, the game can still be tedious at times, and I do wish there were more levels.

Two Point Museum is the coolest, cosiest, and most evolved iteration of the formula to date, even if its more obtuse aspects prevented me from becoming a pro curator.

A very solid, if not spectacular, entry to the Two Point franchise, and one charming enough to keep you engaged one museum at a time. But it seems Two Point Studios may have missed a trick by not capitalising on what could have been a stand-out mechanic.

Two Point Museum is a fantastic addition to a cozy weekend or long-haul flight. The combination of wacky customer animations, tongue-in-cheek exhibits, and well-written narration brilliantly complements the approachable management systems, keeping me entertained as I focused on making my business a success.

Two Point Museum is a fantastic addition to the Two Point management sim title list. It lives up to the studios’ past games but never feels derivative. Everything about the game feels special, providing a blended experience that is accessible to new players at first before it begins to layer new systems into the game, building depth for the more seasoned management sim fan.

The title isn’t completely flawless - like many management games, there are still sections that necessitate sitting and waiting for things to progress which can feel boring at times, there were a few segments that seemed like they should have voiceover for location-based milestones but didn’t, and sometimes XP for staff after missions would appear to lower despite being gained, though this never seemed to actually impact their progression. However, as a whole, it’s still a highly customizable and comprehensive experience designed for every level of simulation player that allows them to maximize efficiency and minutiae to the amount they...

Two Point Museum is a dense game in more ways than one. There’s plenty to do to modify your museum, and the game introduces your options at a pace that makes the whole game feel approachable. Many simulator games either shoehorn you into success or give you so much freedom that you don't know where to start, making them predictable or confusing, respectively. In this case, Two Point Studios has found the perfect balance.

As it is, this is a great, relaxing, and yes, very fun game. I love the look and the intuitive design. The addition of expeditions is a great idea that works. It’s an easy game to pick up and just start having fun from the first moment to the 50th hour. It might not be perfect but Two Point Museum is another example of why Two Point Studios is the standard for sim games.

I can’t think of a single other game that lets you manage museums, and it’s baffling it hasn’t been done before now. Two Point Museum clicks within minutes of taking control, and it only grows more captivating with time. It delicately strikes a balance between complex and approachable, and it’s genuinely hard to imagine how Two Point Studios can improve on its formula from here.

Just as it seems they are in real life, the museums of Two Point County are in a right old state. Two Point Studios has built a long and storied reputation out of producing slapstick business management games, and the studio has looked more than ready to continue that legacy with Two Point Museum. This game puts players in charge of turning boring, empty museums into bustling and active attractions. It also features a cool variety of themes, enjoyable campaign progression, and unique mechanics to play around in each of them, as well as Two Point’s trademark humor, making it another wonderful entry in the Two Point Studios occupational resumé.

Two Point Museum is more of the same we’ve come to expect from Two Point Studios, but its imaginative approach to heritage ensures plenty of museum magic. Two Point Museum is one of those games that will suck up your entire day and you have no idea where it went. The loop of getting new displays to show guests, raking in the money and customizing how your museum looks is exciting, especially for simulation fans. Unfortunately, there are roadblocks on your path to museum dominance. Repetition does set in after a while, some of the money management can be confusing and a few goals that are asked of you can be difficult to overcome. Do these stumbling blocks spoil the overall enjoyment of Two Point Museum, though?

Two Point Museum doesn’t revolutionize the series, but it successfully adapts the beloved formula to a new and entertaining setting. Two Point Museum inhabits the same space as the other entries in the series, confidently maintaining approachable levels of depth. Although its campaign comprises fewer stages, they’re more involved. Managing staff, finances, and exhibits comes with a good amount of familiarity. Still, I always looked forward to creating the next cultural hellscape that only vaguely resembled an actual museum and still functioned.
