Grand Theft Auto V is the perfect combination of story-telling and excellent game mechanics but most importantly; it's one hell of a time. If you're waiting for payday, or have yet to pick it up, get it. You'll never spend a better $60 in your life.

Relax – it was worth the wait, and then some. The sprawling, ingenious, hilarious Grand Theft Auto 5 is a contender for the best game of the current generation of consoles, and might just be the best game of all time.

Grand Theft Auto is nothing short of a pop culture phenomenon. Whether you’re a gamer or not you’ve likely heard of it. It is a game that has managed to permeate nearly every household in North America it seems and everyone is talking about it. It’s so huge in fact that in its first week of release it generated over one billion dollars in sales. If that’s not a testament to the quality that Rockstar has brought to the table with GTA V then I don’t know what is. Hands down Grand Theft Auto V is an absolutely fantastic and bitingly satirical peek into our North American culture at its best and w...

On February 28, 1998, Grand Theft Auto hit the North American market, giving gamers a bird’s-eye view of a gangster’s world overrun with violence, drugs, and an alarming number of civilians crushed by runaway cars. Although the characters looked like ants from the game’s top-down perspective, players became immersed in the open-world chaos, praising its unique gameplay and freedom of choice. The diminutive violence from that first Grand Theft Auto title created a rock-solid foundation for a series that was about to revolutionize gaming – all through the switch of a camera.

It's somewhat unfair to compare the next-gen console versions to a PC as my video card costs more than both consoles combined. That said, what Rockstar has pulled off here is as close to a PC running at max settings, but with a slightly lower draw distance and less feature-rich anti-aliasing. On the other hand, if you are coming from the PlayStation 4 or the Xbox One, the difference is staggering. Most of the time a next-gen native version of a game is just a higher-resolution minimal-effort wallet hug, but here it's clear that the developers are looking to deliver the best version of their mo...

Most anticipated game of the year? Most anticipated game of this generation? We can argue over that. But what we all want to know is - just how good is Rockstar's long-awaited blockbuster?

Overall Grand Theft Auto V showcases the masterpiece of an open world action adventure title that Watch_Dogs and other open world games have failed to deliver. The mind-blowing graphics, alluring gameplay experience, and the perfect online mode makes Grand Theft Auto V a deserving game to be awarded with Game of the Year title of 2015!

Cast your mind back all the way to 1997. Grand Theft Auto was some weird little game that whipped up a storm of controversy because you could run people over and gun them down. It looked pretty crude, with its top-down 2D graphics, and almost didn't see the light of day. If you'd have told us at the time that it would grow into the biggest, most hyped, all-conquering franchise that it is today, we'd have suggested a lie down and some sort of medication. But GTA is effing huge. The hugest, in ...
